As part of a $375 million renovation to Arrowhead Stadium, the team offices once located within the stadium have been moved to a new building to make room for stadium concourse expansion and the building of new suites and club areas.

The new headquarters, also on the grounds of the Truman Sports Complex, includes new locker room and training facilities. The players now have immediate access to their outdoor and indoor practice fields. In past years, they lockered in Arrowhead and had to make a short drive to the practice fields.

--The Chiefs are expected to decide sometime in October whether they will return next summer to River Falls, Wis., which has been their summer training camp for the past 18 seasons.

Coach Herm Edwards has expressed a desire to conduct camp at home in the new team training complex. General manager Carl Peterson still prefers the cooler training climate in Wisconsin, as well as the opportunity to get his team together away from the distractions of home.

It will be interesting to see which argument carries the day.
